Jinhua: Successfully completed the 2013 medical device supervision sampling tasks

Following the unified arrangement of the provincial bureau, the Jinhua Municipal Bureau organized and carried out a supervision and inspection of 77 batches of 17 types of medical devices from medical device production, operation, and use units in our city, including contact lens care solutions, in-vitro diagnostic reagents, infusion sets, surgical packs, and orthopedic implants. This involved 6 manufacturers (17 batches) and 60 batches from business enterprises and medical institutions.
As of now, of the 17 batches of samples from manufacturers, all but 2 batches from one manufacturer preparing to cancel production and cease operation have been sampled. Of the 60 batches of samples from business enterprises and medical institutions, all but 8 batches (due to lack of inventory at the business enterprises and medical institutions) have been sampled. A total of 67 batches were sampled this year, achieving a completion rate of 87%, exceeding the provincial bureau's 80% assessment target for the Jinhua Municipal Bureau.
